15 Years of Business Immigration Excellence
From high-volume corporate immigration to boutique practice serving exceptional talent

My Story
After 15 years leading complex employment-based immigration matters at a national immigration law firm, managing portfolios of 100+ concurrent cases while maintaining a 90%+ approval rate, I founded Kevin J. Andrews Law, LLC to provide both strategic petition counsel and litigation representation for global talent.
My practice handles two distinct but complementary areas: petition strategy for EB-1A extraordinary ability, O-1 visas, National Interest Waivers, and L-1 matters, and federal litigation including mandamus actions for delayed adjudications, APA challenges to denials, and emerging issues like the EAD auto-extension regulatory changes. Most immigration practices choose one lane or the other. I built mine to handle both because the most complex matters often require shifting from administrative strategy to federal court advocacy when USCIS doesn't follow its own rules.
What I've learned over 15 years is that successful immigration cases require strategic thinking more than form-filling. Whether I'm building a specialized knowledge argument for an L-1A executive or crafting a mandamus complaint for a stalled adjustment case, the work demands understanding both the regulatory framework and the specific adjudication patterns that determine real-world outcomes. I approach each matter as a consultant would, analyzing the full picture, identifying pressure points, and building a strategy from first principles rather than templates.
I've also built technology to enhance the client experience. Lex is an immigration chatbot that provides instant fee quotes, schedules consultations, answers common immigration questions, and delivers current news updates on policy changes.
Why Immigration? I'm a first-generation American. My mother made sacrifices as an immigrant in a new country with a newborn (me), completely on her own. Those sacrifices gave me opportunities she never had. Seeing your kids do better than you did, that's what the American dream should be about.
My practice exists to help people build that same future, whether through a successful EB-1A petition or a federal lawsuit that forces USCIS to follow its own regulations.

Why I Focus on EB-1A, O-1A, NIW, and L-1
These visa categories represent the most strategic pathways for exceptional talent. Here's how I approach client service differently.
Strategic, Not Transactional
Immigration decisions have long-term consequences. I help clients understand all available pathways and choose the strategy that aligns with their career goals, not just the first available option.
Tech-Fluent Counsel
I speak your language. Whether you're an AI researcher, software architect, or startup founder, I understand the technical nature of your work and can translate it effectively for USCIS adjudicators.
Transparency First
No surprise fees. No false promises. I provide honest assessments of your chances, clear timelines, and upfront pricing. Immigration law is complex enough without unclear communication.
Efficiency Through Technology
As both attorney and legal technologist, I've built proprietary tools for case assessment and evidence analysis. This means faster turnaround times and more thorough petition preparation without compromising quality.
